Goal:
nTo have students understand the likes and
dislikes of different surroundings.
nTo have students create a table and graft based
on categorizing their likes and dislikes.
Objectives:
nStudents will be able to sit in a circle
and share their opinions.
nStudents will be able to debate on pro’s
and con’s.
nStudent’s will be able to visualize
new surroundings by group discussions.
“I’ve Been To A Few Places”
nStudent’s will be able to categorize their
opinions of likes and dislikes.
Teaching Strategies:
nStudents sit in a circle and choose a starting person.
nThe class says, in unison, “I have been to a few places.”
nThen the first student chosen says, “I have been to
______,” filling in the blank with a location.
nThe class repeats the question and moves around the circle
with each student choosing among the four choices given.
